Commercial aluminium fabricator Arcalu Architectural Aluminium says that the new TruEnergy Window system from Jack Aluminium has been an “instant hit.”
Already a regular fabricator of the Jack Door system, Arcalu became one of the first manufacturers to try the new window and is now making around 90 percent of all new windows using the system.
“When Jack Aluminium introduced the new window system, we jumped at the chance to try it. We love the Jack Door and the window has been designed with the same features that make it so great,” says Nick Hundleby, Director at Arcalu Architectural Aluminium.
“We do a lot of work in schools and the Jack Door is the only system we’ve used that can cope with the wear and tear it gets from pupils. We’ve fitted countless Jack Doors. It’s a good, solid door and the only one we’ll fit.
“The window is up to the same standard. It’s easy to fabricate, we’ve had no issues fitting it and Jack Aluminium takes the time to get the service right.
“Best of all are the 5-7 day lead times. We’ve never had a window system we preferred until now because lead times from other suppliers can vary, but every Jack Aluminium product arrives within a week, exactly as promised.”
Arcalu has already used the Jack TruEnergy Window on projects including schools in Loughborough and Nuneaton, plus the first phase of a three-year programme to refit all windows at Derby Royal Hospital.
Jack Aluminium’s PAS 24-certified TruEnergy Window uses fewer components to achieve a U-value of 1.4 W/m², double glazed, or 1.2 W/m² triple glazed.
