Mercia Marina

Jack Aluminium’s commercial doorsets and curtain walling were used to create this impressive façade at Mercia Marina near Willington in Derbyshire. The award-winning project has transformed the marina with the Boardwalk which hosts boutique retailers and a bar and restaurant.

Mercia marina is the largest inland marina in Europe and the Boardwalk development which used Jack Aluminium’s commercial aluminium systems received regional and national awards from the LABC Building Excellence Awards.

Co-operative Academy

Stoke-on-Trent’s Co-operative Academy was built to replace the old Brownhill’s Primary School.

Our TD68 Jack Door was used as part of the £32 million development because of its low U-Values and strikeplate opening option. It is also very robust for high throughput environments such as schools.

Elstree Aerodrome

IDF Aluminium used our TD68 Jack Door and JCW curtain walling system as part of this interesting aerodrome project in Elstree.

The 8.5 mere tall, three-storey vestibule has a glass façade that uses the curtain walling system and is secured with our TD68 system.

Huddersfield Grammar School

St.David’s Building at Huddersfield Grammar School incorporates local stonework, wooden cladding and glass to create a perfect educational building.

MBE Glazing used Jack Aluminium’s low U-Value 100mm reinforced aluminium curtain walling to create the low-rise glass façade to let in lots of natural light.

The £4 million project that won the Huddersfield Civic Society Design Award for Best New Development.

Hugo Boss

Jack Aluminium’s commercial door and shopfront systems were used for two Hugo Boss stores in Liverpool and Brighton.

Fast turnarounds meant that both store were ready for opening dates. Each project required specialist finishes including a chrome nickel effect for the Brighton store where planning conditions were strict.


For Old Brompton Road’s Lamborghini supercar showroom, IDF Aluminium used two Jack Aluminium Systems – JD47 non-thermal shopfront and a TD68 thermal commercial door.

The wide-span sliding doors meant that the supercars could be driven in and out of the showroom, whilst the TD68 Jack Door offered secure remote access to the premises.
